📌 South Sudan Nile Discourse Forum at a Glance

Introduction

Registered as 'South Sudan Nile Basin Discourse Forum (SSNBDF)' in the Republic of South Sudan; South Sudan NDF is a Non-Governmental Civil Society Organization established in early 2012 as part and parcel of the Regional Nile Basin Discourse. SSNDF is legally recognised by the South Sudan Relief & Rehabilitation Commission.

SSNDF operates within the geographical boundaries of all the States of the Republic of South Sudan based on the specific needs of those locations. SSNDF has the mandate to work independently or in collaboration and in coordination with other organizations. The areas of focus are mostly on water related aspects, the environment, climate change, gender, peace building, and Youth & Women empowerment and protection.

SSNDF envisions to be the Leading agency to provide sustainable, Social & economic development for all peoples of South Sudan & the Nile basin, free of conflict, leading to achievement of justice, human rights, good governance, poverty eradication, and environmental protection.
